Verbi: mill-bieb ’il ġewwa is an interdisciplinary promenade performance art event by Brussels-based Barumbara Collective, to be held at the exhibition space Valletta Contemporary. Verbi is a collaboration of eight European artists (Malta, Belgium, Italy, France, England) coming from different artistic disciplines. The work is based on a collection of short stories, mill-bieb ’il ġewwa (take a look inside (me)), written by award-winning Maltese writer Loranne Vella, who is also directing the event. The event blurs the dividing lines between photographic exhibition, installation, dance, theatre, video projection, drama, music concert, etc., creating a multidisciplinary and multisensorial experience in a unique venue which allows for such fluidity. The project is supported by Malta Arts Fund – project support grant by Arts Council Malta.
