Evgenija Chanchalova (known as Geni Gen) is a Macedonian singer-songwriter and a classical pianist based in The Netherlands. Trained as a classical pianist, Geni started writing songs when she was just 17 years old. Since 2020, during her jazz studies in Codarts, Rotterdam, Geni has been working on her first singles and an EP album which will be released in the near future. She has been influenced by a variety of singers such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, and Ray Charles, as well as bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. Another major influence is classical and jazz music because of her schooling, creating a mix from soulful sounds with hints of blues, to rock riffs with hints of jazz.
Pablo Sánchez is a guitarist specialising in Americana music such as fingerpicking, blues and soul. His compositions have influences from Blues and Chet Atkins’s solo guitar pieces to Motown and Stax classic soul songs with hints of Spanish influences.
