After a memorable night in 2019, we’re delighted to welcome the Swedish electronic music duo back to the island. Carbon Based Lifeforms have been a big part of our personal and musical journey, and after a long pause, we’re excited to have them return for another special night.

For over twenty years, Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid have been creating performances where organic sounds slowly unfold into pulsating rhythms and expansive, atmospheric spaces.

CBL has played in some of the world’s most extraordinary venues. From Ozora Festival to sold-out shows in planetariums, cathedrals, and even 80 metres underground in an old iron mine. These aren’t just concerts, they’re experiences where the space, the sound, and the audience all become one. And this time, they’re bringing that journey to Liquid Club Malta.

Their latest album, Seeker, takes their signature immersive atmospheres further, introducing richer textures, dynamic rhythms, and a more extroverted energy than ever before, a bold new evolution of the sound that has defined them for over two decades.
